django CMS 4.1.2 released
This update brings bug fixes to improve the performance and usability of django-cms.
We are excited to announce the release of django-cms version 4.1.2!
Improvements:
- Enhanced performance for page permissions
- The default_plugins setting has been reenabled, enhancing flexibility and functionality.
- Page-level publish permissions, as seen in version 4.0 and before, have been brought back for better access control.
Bug Fixes:
- Key-length of 200 is now used for actual cache-keys of placeholders (thanks to wfehr).
- Toolbar direction (ltr or rtl) is now set according to the toolbar language.
- Users can now view page settings even without the change page settings permission
- Implemented a versioning-safe method for placeholder inheritance
- Structure endpoint switches on viewport breakpoint only if in edit mode
- Special characters can now be used in page titles (Jacob Rief).
- Rendering a placeholder on a missing toolbar object will now fail silently
- Fallback language titles are now visible in the page tree.
